On 1 December 2026, the innovation ecosystem of the Western Balkans and Europe will gather in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the third edition of Horizons of Innovation Forum 2026—a leading international event dedicated to transforming innovative ideas into impactful European collaborations.
As a co-organizer, Eco Logic is proud to contribute to a forum that strengthens cooperation between research, innovation, business, civil society, and public institutions while accelerating the development of high-quality European projects.
A Forum Where Innovation Meets Collaboration
The future of European innovation depends on strong partnerships, interdisciplinary cooperation, and the exchange of knowledge across borders. Horizons of Innovation Forum was created with exactly this vision in mind.
Over the past editions, the Forum has grown into a recognised international platform, bringing together:
- More than 420 participants
- Representatives from 29 countries
- Over 160 matchmaking meetings
- More than 40 co-organising organisations
These achievements demonstrate the Forum’s growing role in connecting people and organisations that share a common goal: developing innovative solutions with real societal impact.
This year’s edition continues that mission by creating opportunities for researchers, innovators, companies, public institutions, and civil society organisations to meet, exchange ideas, and initiate new European partnerships.
Why Eco Logic Supports This Initiative
At Eco Logic, we believe that today’s environmental and societal challenges require collaborative, international solutions. Throughout our work in sustainability, environmental education, circular economy, youth engagement, active mobility, and European cooperation, we have witnessed how strong partnerships can transform ambitious ideas into successful projects.
Being part of Horizons of Innovation Forum aligns perfectly with our commitment to:
- strengthening research and innovation partnerships;
- promoting sustainable and green innovation;
- encouraging cross-sector collaboration;
- supporting participation in European funding programmes;
- connecting organisations across the Western Balkans and Europe.
The Forum provides an ideal environment for organisations seeking to expand their networks, develop competitive project proposals, and build long-term collaborations.
What Participants Can Expect
Horizons of Innovation Forum 2026 offers much more than a traditional conference. Participants will have numerous opportunities to actively engage with the innovation community through:
- project and technology presentations;
- AI solution showcases;
- research poster sessions;
- one-to-one meetings with experienced evaluators;
- structured matchmaking sessions;
- networking with European partners and funding organisations.
Whether participants represent universities, companies, NGOs, innovation hubs, public institutions, or startups, the Forum is designed to facilitate meaningful connections that extend well beyond the event itself.
Matchmaking That Creates Real Opportunities
One of the Forum’s strongest features is its structured matchmaking programme.
Participants can create their collaboration profiles in advance, browse the participant community, and schedule targeted meetings before arriving in Banja Luka. This approach ensures that every conversation has the potential to evolve into a future consortium, research collaboration, innovation project, or business partnership.
By connecting the right people around shared interests and complementary expertise, Horizons of Innovation helps transform networking into concrete project development.
