As part of the project “Quality of life and sustainability”, that Eco Logic is implementing, supported by the City of Skopje, in the last period, the students from the high school “Nikola Karev” took part in two informative sessions, coordinated by the professor Nikolina Stojanova.
The project “Quality of life and sustainability” is part of a larger international project “GLAS (Good Life and Sustainability)”, a project that contributes to the implementation of the adopted EU strategy for sustainable development.
Willing to raise the teenagers’ awareness about sustainability and the importance of environment protection, there were two opened topics on two different days:
- Healthy diet: “The importance of the diet and the sugar addiction” and
- Sustainable transport: “Using bicycle as an everyday transport mean”
On the first session, after introducing the open call “Youth for sustainability”, there was an open discussion about the diet that the participants are having, a short video about sugar addiction, and sugar influence on the humans’ body functioning was shown. After, the participants took part in a wider discussion about the healthy diet issue.
