“Refuse,Refuse,Refuse“ is a youth exchange that will take place in Busteni, Romania between 25 August – 2 September, 2015. The partnership consists of 45 youngsters from 8 countries : Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Turkey, Romania and includes 6 youngsters with fewer opportunities from Romania and Italy from poor rural areas.
Aim of the project is to aware youngsters about a responsible attitude as consumer for protecting nature and providing a better sustainability of environment.
Objectives are: understanding by youngsters of bad impact on environment of exaggerate consumption and identification of new sustainable methods for reduce this impact; inform and sensibilize youngsters and citizens about importance of reducing, reusing and recycling of resources; promotion of a responsible attitude of consumer in relationship with nature and environment; promotion of an active life style by a verified alimentation and reducing of pollution; offer to 45 youngsters from 8 countries a common space for understanding cultural diversity and expanding cooperation between youngsters and their structures.
The activities forseen are for preparation, introduction and getting to know eachother, trust and team building, presentation of participants and organizations, introduction of Erasmus + programme and Youthpass certificate, cultural visits in Sinaia, Bran and Brasov, intercultural evenings, workshops in plennary and groups, a visual campaign with parallel workshops: PRINT and VIDEO, daily, midterm and final reflection-evaluations, dissemination and exploitation of results. Besides there will be transversal activities for visibility, management and monitorizing.
The methodology will be based on nonformal education and will consist in games, presentations, debates, role plays and simulations, visual campaign.
The impact of the project will be at youngsters’ level by new developed competences, a better understanding of cultural diversity and stimulation of active participation and thematic they will assimilate new information about consumption and its negative effects and will understand importance of a responsible consumer attitude in relationship with environment. At partners’ and local communities level the impact will be felt by presence of more trained youngsters and more willing to solve communities problems and by getting new tools and methods to provide a better sustainability of environment.
Sustianability of project and partnership will be provided by communication between partners, by a common dissemination and exploitation plan and by writing new application in Erasmus + programme.
