“Youthocracy” vol. 2 – a place where organizations, working with youth, can share their best practices and experiences regarding non-formal education

“Youthocracy” vol. 2 is a project about networking for organizations working with youth. Coordinator of this project is Eco Logic, in partnership with the organizations Lutherans (AU), San Francesco (IT), DOREA (CY) and Mladi Zmaji (SL). The project is supported by the ERASMUS + Program.

The project “Youthocracy” has a mission to create and share best practices and methods for empowerment, engagement and activation for youth, through establishment of a network of European youth organizations that all work by using innovative, but different methods and approaches.

The desired objectives are:

  • Creation, promotion and introduction of practices on topics such as: youth involvement in community development, experiences and best practices that provide training and non-formal education to youth.
  • Promotion and introduction of innovative methods and approaches related to non-formal education for youth, through usage of theater, music, art, environment, social and economic issues and topics.
  • Strengthen the capacity and increase the knowledge of youth workers across Europe – through creation of a web platform on which organizations from Macedonia, Austria, Italy, Cyprus and Slovenia (with the potential to spread to other countries) will be invited to share their best practices related to youth work.

The content of the created platform currently consists of more than 100 best practices and methods from 32 members from 6 European countries which through the Youthocracy Vol. 2 will be additionally discussed and revised.
