- Objectives
The project aims to promote cycling to school among Skopje’s youth, as well as to facilitate a youth debate focused on cycling as a safe and healthy alternative means of transportation in the city, the urban cycling culture and the urban cycling infrastructure.
- Activities and results
The project will produce:
- Promotional videos “Bike to School” focused on raising awareness about cycling as safe, environment-friendly and low-cost means of transportation to school;
- Workshop and a debate for Skopje’s high-school students dedicated to cycling to school and its benefits.
- Online workshop with teachers from Skopje-based high-schools
- Impact
Awareness about the benefits of cycling to school is enhanced among youth, as well as schools and teachers are motivated to integrate the teaching about cycling into their programs.
